Community Workers' Co-operative:

• National anti-poverty network which promotes community work as a means of social change
• Does not directly organise or provide training to community groups, but its regional networks do organise once-off training events, e.g. media skills, disability awareness, social analysis

Cork Community Development Institute:

• Independent voluntary organisation committed to social change through community development
• Organises training programmes in community development, childcare, access to information, employment training and Public Relations / Media Skills training

• The training is provided in a group session

Threshold:

• Voluntary organisation offering information and advice in relation to
  housing issues
• Training and education are on offer to groups interested in all areas of housing such as leaving home, homelessness and buying a home
