• Local Employment Service (LES):
• The Partnership has opened seven Local Employment Service offices in Cork.
• Service aimed at supporting job seekers to find work.
• Provides information on opportunities available for training, education and employment.
• Supports employers in their search for staff with the Recruitment & Placement Service.
• Mediators who will help plan your road back to work or training or education gives support in the ongoing search for employment.
• Employers are provided with professional recruitment and post-recruitment support.

Cork City Enterprise Board:

• Confidential enterprise advisory agency for Cork City
• Advice on setting up your own business and the grants available
• Assistance with filling in grant application forms, producing a business plan, etc.
• Mentor Programme provides temporary business advisors to individuals / companies who may need help to overcome obstacles in the development stage of their business

Department of Social & Family Affairs:

• Job Facilitators advise and encourage people who are unemployed and lone parents into employment, self-employment, education or training
• There are options available for people to take up voluntary work and continue to get their Social Welfare payment
• Various schemes are in place to assist people to work and still claim unemployment payments
• Contact your local Social Welfare Office for details of these schemes

Employee Assistance Service for Teachers:

First Employment Services Enable Ireland:

• Enable Ireland lead this consortium of six agencies including Cheshire Home, Brothers of Charity, LES, Headway and Charleville & District Services offering support in employment to service users with a disability and their employees
