St. Francis' Training Centre:

• Refuge for women and their children who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence

Good Shepherd Services:
Voluntary organisation responding to the needs of girls, women and children who are disadvantaged in Cork. Support provided by the following:

Bruac:

• Females aged 15 - 25 years who are homeless or unemployed can stay by day at the centre
• Sessions are provided each week in English, Maths and Computers
• Training in arts, crafts and independent living skills provided

Edel House:

• Edel House is a residential centre for homeless girls, women and children

Riverview:

• Riverview is a residential centre or girls aged 15-18 years who are homeless
• Aftercare service is provided to support girls leaving Riverview

• Hearth is a residential family support service for mothers and children

• Housing the elderly of Cork City who are not property owners and who depend on their pension as their only source of money
• Continual care is also provided to those who have to enter nursing homes due to homelessness or ill health
